Most sponsors use the VGC newsletter as an awareness channel because, in addition to its large reach, the audience is also highly targeted, the vast majority working in copywriting or marketing. 

Some sponsors, however, use us as an acquisition channel. For example, Marketing Brew, also a newsletter, has been very successful at compelling hundreds of signups per send.
