I had a setback…

Weeks back, I’d created another Product Hunt (aka “PH”) campaign, after my first launch made their 400K-subscriber newsletter. 

This time, I planned to launch the “Wisdom of the Crowd Micro-Course (the one many talented folks here on LinkedIn helped create). 

And I showed my plan to the best PH maker I know, Jesse Rowe:

“Ya man,” he said, “wish I had this before.”

“Yeh?” I smiled. 

“Yes,” he said. “It’s superb.”

I’d spent 30+ hours on the plan, including design & copywriting for:

  • social posts

  • promo emails

  • the PH launch page itself

Plus a minute-by-minute launch schedule. 👍

My goal was to make the PH newsletter again, so I gave it my sincere best. 

“Oh...” said Jesse. “Wait…”

BAD NEWS: a company can only get featured on PH once every 6 months. So since VGC launched 4 months ago, I’m ineligible.

Oh, well…
