Last week, 10.4 million people watched the premiere of Manifest on NBC.
I was one of those people.
And honestly, I didn’t like it.
(Doesn’t matter why, really. I just didn’t.)
But I’m still going to watch the show, week after week.
And if you aspire to write good copy, then you should watch it, too.
You should watch it religiously and attentively.
Because 10 million people DID like it!
Think about that: 10 million individual brains — from all walks of life — gripped by the same script, the same words.
That means the language was simple, universal.
Which is why if you haven’t already, watch Manifest. Matter of fact…
Watch a lot of prime time TV

THERE is the language of copywriting!
Mass-appeal language is the bedrock of this discipline.
Expose yourself to it often.
